Hackers Aim – SONY PlayStations

Are you a regular user of the Play Station? Have you ever faced situations to provide some personal information? If your answer is yes, it’s a high possibility for you to face “hackers”.

sony-playstation-scandal75 million users around the world are facing the situation while using the SONY PLAY STATION for playing the Video games, switching for the stream movies or even the online shopping.

“We have discovered that between April 17 and April 19, 2011, certain PlayStation Network and Qriocity service user account information was compromised in connection with an illegal and unauthorized intrusion into our network,” says the company in an official blog relating the Play Station.

It also added that the user can be enough confident that SONY will never ask for any personal user information. Though evidence has not been found regarding the credit card compromise, but the option can never be ruled out.

SONY’s senior director of the corporate communications and social media – Patrick Seybold assured for the complete rebuild of the system to ensure the security (beginning from April 20, 2011).
