SONY Bowing for 7seconds in Apology and Offering Compensation

SONY apologizes for the security problem in its PlayStations. At a press conference, Kazuo Hirai (Sony’s second in command and the chairman of Sony Computer Entertainment) bows in request for forgiveness or apology as you may say for seven seconds.

This breach was not disclosed till April 22, 2011.

SONY assured for complete information over the matter. The data of over 77 million users were hacked, when they were made offline on April 20, 2011.

SONY facing a criminal act is definitely a black mark on the company and a reason to doubt for the consumers.

The officials promised to restore the online gaming for PS3, PSP (later the week) along with the PS – home, chat functioning and also accessing the friend list.

After they do up with the work, the users need to change their account password before logging. The updating of the PS3 needs the change of the password either on PS3 or via e-mail.

But, there is some good news for all the SONY PlayStation users – SONY offers a 30days free membership in PS PLUS service. It will provide you with the unlimited access to the unlimited exclusive gaming and it also offer beta trials for your game too.

One who already subscribed to the PS PLUS service can avail the offer for next 30 additional days.

Thanks SONY …Cheers for Gaming!!
